For 30 seasons, Bill Brown was the primary television voice of the Houston Astros, becoming one of the most trusted and respected broadcasters in baseball. His professionalism, preparation, and deep knowledge of the game made him a steady presence for fans across Houston.

Joining the booth in 1987, Brown quickly became a fixture in Astros homes. He called many of the franchise’s defining moments, including Craig Biggio’s 3,000th hit, Jeff Bagwell’s 400th home run, multiple no-hitters, and the final game at the Astrodome. His career spanned generations, covering the full careers of Biggio and Bagwell and the early years of stars like Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Carlos Correa, and George Springer.

Brown’s impact on the game has been recognized with several major honors, including induction into the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame and the Astros Media Wall of Honor.
