ONE LITTLE TWEET, ONE REALLY BIG IDEA

CRUISE ADDICTS, ASTROS FANS, AND PART TIME TRAVEL AGENTS

"An Astros Cruise would be a hot mess. I'm here for it, but whew." It was an innocuous enough tweet in December of 2021, but an idea gained momentum the moment I hit send. Here we are in 2024, on track to host 275 fans in February of 2025, and planning for a pair of sailings in 2026.

My name is Daniel Meyer and I'm your cruise host aka The Commish. By day I work full time in internal quality assurance for a restaurant company; in my free time I work as a travel agent. The Fan Cruise has also made me a graphic designer, web developer, and cruise host. I guess you could say I wear a lot of hats.

We have experienced incredible growth and support every single year, starting with 55 passengers in February of 2023, 160 in 2024, and selling out our space with 275 Astros Fans in 2025.

This started as nothing more than a group trip I thought I could handle on my own. It has now grown into a small army that works to ensure you have an amazing cruise experience. Our 2025 roster can be found below. Want to get involved? Shoot us a message! We can find a job for you!

Daniel Meyer

The Commissioner. Daniel serves as the travel agent and onboard host for our sailing.

Kaitlin Meyer

Director of Onboard Events, Carnival Cruise Pro. Kaitlin is your go-to person for all Carnival related questions and she makes sure all of our events go off without a hitch.

Sharla Balderama

The Life of the Party, Cruise Pro. Sharla is in charge of our Bar Crawl Bingo event and does more behind the scenes that you can imagine. This cruise would not exist without her, and she was our first passenger ever booked!

Martha Meyer

Director of Hospitality Services, Carnival Cruise Pro. After 25+ Carnival Voyages, Martha is your go-to resource for Carnival related questions on the ship.

Freddy Hinojosa

The Paparazzo. Freddy is a Houston-Based photography and professional services expert. He's also available for private photo sessions during the Winter cruise.

Jesus Estrada

Co-Host & Event Services. Jesus's high energy, positive vibes, and love for the Astros made him a perfect fit for our team.

David Rumsey

Event Services. From setting the room to escorting the trophy, David makes sure everything is set up and ready to go when our guests arrive.

TOKYO

The Hobbyist. Baseball cards are as much a part of the game as a bat and ball. TOKYO will be ripping packs and talking cards on our Winter Cruise.

Karla Sullivan

Hospitality Services. You know that familiar face that you seem to see at every event? That's Karla, and there's a 99% chance that she'll be greeting you with a fruity tropical drink in hand... just like in this photo.
